FORMER FPHL GOALTENDER PORTER IN THE LIIGA

Former Watertown Wolves (FPHL) goaltender Cody Porter has recently been added to the SaiPa team in the SM-Liiga league. SM-Liiga is the top league in Finland. He started the 2021-22 season with IPK in the Finnish Mestis league.

Porter began his professional career with the Wolves in 2018-19. He also played for another FPHL team that year, the Elmira Enforcers.

The 24-year-old from Vancouver, BC, Canada has also played in the SPHL with 5 different teams, most notably with the Knoxville Ice Bears. During the pandemic year, 2020-21 Porter played in Poland with Zaglebie Sosnowiec.
