BORODKIN NAMED FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR OCTOBER / NOVEMBER

Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Watertown Wolves goaltender Anton Borodkin has been named the Rookie of the Month for October/November.


Borodkin had a record of 9-2-0-1 with 37 goals against for a 3.04 GAA and 385 saves for a .914 SV% in 12 games, with one shutout. He is tied with Breandan Colgan for the most wins in the league with 9.5 Anton’s best game was on November 8th where he made 47 saves in 46.14 minutes of play. There were two other games where he allowed only one goal, October 25th against the Motor City Rockers and November 16th versus the Dashers of Danville.


The 29-year-old is from Surgut, Russia. He played for HK Chelny in Russia in 2020-21 and after sitting out a year he returned to HK Chelny in 2022 and stayed there until this season. Anton is beginning his North American pro career with the Watertown Wolves.
