Cody Karpinski Returns to Watertown
Watertown, NY - The Watertown Wolves are proud to announce the signing of goaltender Cody Karpinski for the 2018-2019 season.
The 25 year old native of Chicago, IL played 4 years at Lindenwood University (ACHA) from 2013-2017, and won the ACHA (D1) Championship in 2016. He attended NHL Development Camp with the St. Louis Blues in 2017. In 22 regular season games with the Wolves last season, Karpinski posted a 3.23 GAA with a .905 SVS. When it came time for playoffs, he elevated his game, posting a 2.67 GAA and a .931 SVS in 6 games, backstopping the Wolves to their second FHL Championship.
Head Coach Trevor Karasiewicz said: "I am extremely excited to have him back in the net. He was a huge part of us winning the Championship last season. He made crucial saves at the right time to help us come from behind in most of our playoff games. This signing is great for our organization."
