Dill Named Goaltender of the Month
Syracuse, NY - The Federal Hockey League announced today that Carolina Thunderbirds goaltender Henry Dill has been named the Goaltender of the Month for February. This is his second time winning the award for the 2018-19 season.
Dill played in 4 games for the Thunderbirds and had a record of 4-0-0 with a GAA of 2.00 and a .925 SV%. His victory against Danville on February 1st tied the FHL’s all-time win streak (21), but the record has since been broken. Dill recently accepted a contract with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs of the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL) and has split time this season between the Thunderbirds and several teams in the SPHL.
The 23 year old native of Columbus, OH played four years of college hockey for UMass Amherst (two years) and Utica College (two years).
