LACNY NAMED FPHL ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR MARCH/APRIL
Binghamton, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that Port Huron Prowlers forward Lukas Lacny has been named the Rookie of the Month for March / April
Lacny played in 13 games for the Prowlers and had 10 goals, 14 assists for 24 points for March / April. He moved from tied for 54th to 37th in league scoring. Lukas had three games where he scored four or more points in a game. In the March 14-15 weekend against Motor City, he scored a total of 9 points. For the March 14 game Lukas had a goal and three assists for 4 points. The next night (March 15) he had a hat trick along with two assists for 5 points. The other game where he had 4 points was also against the Rockers on March 29 (2 G, 2 A).
The 24-year-old is from Vranov nad Toplou, Slovakia. Lukas is beginning his professional career with the Prowlers. He previously played for HC 19 Humenne in Slovakia from 2021-24.
The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25.
