Malik Johnson Heads to South Carolina (ECHL)

Forward Malik Johnson is getting loaned to the South Carolina Stingrays. They have four games in five nights, so a busy schedule.

"Malik plays a fast and physical game which makes him a good fit to step in and help South Carolina. We want Athens to be a franchise that wins but also helps players further their hockey careers. We have a lot of ECHL teams nearby. If your good enough to play in the ECHL, and your playing Athens, you will get your opportunity," head coach Steve Martinson said.
