Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that
Binghamton Black Bear goaltender Riley McVeigh has been named the Goaltender
of the Month for December.
McVeigh had a record of 3-1-0-0 with a 1.77 GAA and a .943 SV% and picked up 2
shutouts in his 4 games in December. His best games were his two shutouts, the
first being on December 3rd against the Watertown Wolves. In that game Riley
had 25 saves. The other shutout occurred on December 30th once again versus
Watertown where he made 38 saves.
The 24-year-old is from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. He attended the University of
Wisconsin-Eau Claire from 2019-22. He is beginning his professional career with
the Black Bears.
