PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES SUSPENSIONS FOR 1/11/25

Binghamton, NY – The FPHL Department of Player Safety today have announced the following suspensions.

Mississippi Sea Wolves Stacey,  SUSPENDED
Mississippi defenseman Andrew Stacey has been suspended for Four Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 191 in Monroe, LA on Saturday, January 11th.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,  
" Mr. Stacey, did not let up or stop once the linesman got involved. He ended up in a pile on the ice necessitating a physical intervention by the referee. He then proceeded to threaten the referee with physical harm and was ejected. This is the second time this season that he has verbally threatened an official. After being ejected he went to the vicinity of his opponent's locker room looking for a confrontation. Mr. Stacey is suspended for FOUR (4) GAMES."

Note: Mississippi forward Matt Stoia’s Game Misconduct for Leaving the Bench has been Rescinded by the Director of Player Safety.  Although the player left the bench during an altercation, he did not get involved in any on ice incidents and had simply chose to just exit the game on his own.  

The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25.
