From The FPHL Department of Player Safety

Binghamton, NY – The FPHL Department of Player Safety today have announced the following suspensions.

Binghamton Black Bears Fletcher,  SUSPENDED
Binghamton forward Josh Fletcher has been suspended for One Game as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 115 in Binghamton, NY on Saturday, December 7th.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,  "This is a clear-cut instigator. (Distance traveled, gloves off first, etc) There was no reason for this fight. Mr. Fletcher was not engaged with his opponent prior to starting this fight and it did not occur organically as a result of contact between Mr. Fletcher and his opponent. Because this occurred in the final 5 minutes of the game, Mr. Fletcher will be suspended for ONE (1) GAME."

The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25.
