PLAYER SAFETY ANNOUNCES SUSPENSIONS FOR 2/1/25

From The FPHL Department of Player Safety

Binghamton, NY – The FPHL Department of Player Safety today have announced the following suspensions.

HC Venom Jesseau,  SUSPENDED
Venom forward Dustin Jesseau has been suspended for Two Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 232 in Danbury, CT on Saturday, February 1st.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated, 
 "Mr. Jesseau delivered a late, high hit to his opponent and targeted his head. The opponent's nose was bloodied but fortunately a serious injury did not occur. Mr. Jesseau will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES for a Match penalty for illegal check to the head."

Note: Danbury forward Vadim Frolov's Game Misconduct for Aggressor has been Rescinded by the Director of Player Safety.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated,  "Mr. Frolov will not be suspended for aggressor. Although he was the more aggressive individual in this altercation and he probably deserved to receive a differential I do not see this as being an aggressor. An aggressor penalty is utilized when one player inflicts punishment on an unwilling and defenseless opponent this was not the case in this incident. There will be no further discipline."

Motor City Rockers Gullo,  SUSPENDED
Motor City forward Nick Gullo has been suspended for One Game as a result from his actions for throwing an opposing players helmet into the spectator area during FPHL Game No. 233 in Fraser, MI on Saturday, February 1st.  

Port Huron Prowlers Scantlebury,  SUSPENDED
Port Huron forward Tucker Scantlebury has been suspended for Two Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 231 in Topeka, KS on Saturday, February 1st.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated, 
 "Mr. Scantlebury left his feet and delivered an illegal check to his opponent's head. This is a match penalty and Mr. Scantlebury will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES. I am rescinding the game misconduct for aggressor. He did not seek to punish an unwilling opponent, he simply delivered the last two punches."

Dashers Hockey Club Goar,  SUSPENDED
Dashers defenseman Sean Goar has been suspended for Two Games as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 231 in Topeka, KS on Saturday, February 1st.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated, 
 "Mr. Goar, while being escorted off the ice by the linesman, used derogatory language towards his opponent and then followed it up with a lewd gesture. Mr. Goar will be suspended for TWO (2) GAMES."

Blue Ridge Bobcats Belle,  SUSPENDED
Blue Ridge forward Austin Bellefeuille has been suspended for One Game as a result from his actions during FPHL Game No. 229 in Winston-Salem, NC on Saturday, February 1st.  FPHL Director of Player Safety Dave Jackson stated, 
 "Mr. Bellefeuille verbally challenged the referee to fight him and then made gestures in an attempt to physically engage the referee. This is immature and unacceptable. Mr. Bellefeuille is suspended for ONE (1) GAME."


The FPHL is a Single-A Minor Professional hockey league operating in its 15th season during 2024-25.
