Syracuse, NY – The Federal Prospect Hockey League announced today that
Columbus River Dragons forward Alex Storjohann has been named the Rookie of
the Month for January.
Storjohann appeared in 9 games during the month and had 9 goals and 4 assists
for 14 points. One of his best games was the first game in 2023 against Mississippi
when he scored two goals while picking up an assist for three points. Another
three-point game for Alex occurred on January 27th against Port Huron when he
had 3 assists.
The 26- year-old is from Anthem, Arizona. He is in his second season with the
River Dragons. He played at SUNY-Cortland (SUNYAC) from 2017-22 where he
played in 94 games (29-31-60) for the Red Dragons.
